You wait two weeks for the club action to resume following the third international break of the season and then the snow comes along and ruins it.
Fans across Scotland have been eagerly anticipating the Premiership action getting back underway, while the Championship, League One and League Two held the fort while Scotland returned to winning ways to finish their Nations League campaign. But the return of the domestic stuff has coincided with the big freeze and temperatures plummeted across the country, not to mention Strom Bert battering some areas.
The inevitable result is games falling foul of the conditions. And it's not just the state of the playing surface that's taken into account.
