Dramatic footage shows the moment armed police stormed a house after two children were stabbed to death.
Six children and two adults remain in a critical condition following the knife attack in Southport yesterday morning (Monday). A 17-year-old boy, from the village of Banks, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Police were called to the scene in Hart Street, behind The Hart Space studios - a venue where kids were enjoying a dance class inspired by pop icon Taylor Swift.

ITV's UK Editor Paul Brand later shared a video which appeared to show armed police officers descending on a house, the Express reports. In a post on X - formerly Twitter - he wrote: "The scene of the attacks is around a 15-minute drive from this location. Armed police arrived around two hours later to raid the house."
Later this evening, police confirmed the heartbreaking news that two children had died and six were fighting for their lives after the knife attack during the Taylor Swift themed dance session at a children's centre.
In a distressing press briefing, it was disclosed that two courageous adults who tried to stop the assailant as he entered with a knife and started assaulting the children are suffered serious injuries and remain in a critical condition. Witnesses recounted the chilling moment a mother cried out in agony, "my daughter's been stabbed."
A local resident has described the chilling moment she found a young mum and her daughter, both covered in blood, after the horrifying stabbing. Deborah Parker, 57, who lives just a stone's throw away from the scene, stumbled upon the pair in a car near her home.
