South Manchester man charged with murder as dead person named

A man has been charged with murder following an alleged incident in south Manchester. Police were called to an address on Heysham Avenue, in Withington, on Sunday afternoon (May 21) Greater Manchester Police previously said.

The victim, named in court documents as 37-year-old Warren Burns, has since died. A 20-year-old man is charged with his murder. He has been remanded in custody. A second suspect has been released on police bail. GMP say they are continuing to investigate what happened and they are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
