Soon-to-be Glamour Boy! Stellies, Chiefs agree R6m transfer for Du Preez - report

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly agreed on a deal with Stellenbosch FC to buy hotshot forward Ashley Du Preez for a whopping R6 million.

The 24-year-old has burst into the limelight for Stellies with his blistering pace and lethal finishing ability, and Chiefs have been long admirers of the Capetonian.

According to a SABC report, he will become Chiefs' third signing along with Siyethemba Sithebe from AmaZulu and Zitha Kwinika from Stellies.

"SABC Sport understands that Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of young striker Ashley Du Preez," the publication said  

"Several media reports have linked Du Preez with Amakhosi since 2021 and, at one point talk was that Dumisani Zuma would go in the oppositive direction.

"However, SABC Sport now understands that the two (Stellenbosch and the Amakhosi) clubs have agreed to a cash deal."
