Sonic Frontiers: Leaked gameplay reveals graphics, textures and more

SEGA’s beloved blue hedgehog is making a comeback, and we have some exciting news for you.

Sonic Frontiers has been hyped by the developers since its announcement in December 2021. However, as the game’s release date approaches, more information about it becomes available.

The game appears to be building on the series’ highs and lows since it expanded beyond the classic 2D games on the Sega Genesis/Megadrive to include 3D platforming elements.

When SEGA announced an open-world Sonic game, comparisons to Breath of the Wild were unavoidable, but the game’s atmosphere took a step further as the franchise has enjoyed a lot of success and has generated a lot of revenue.

Fans have loved the franchise since its inception and have been calling for more of Sonic. Sonic Frontiers, the open-world Sonic iteration, is one of the most anticipated games of 2022.

After so long without any idea of what Sonic Frontiers would include, it’s understandable why Sonic the Hedgehog fans would be eager to see what it has to offer.

Sega has made this game stand out in various ways, such as stating that it has been held back for quality assurance and openly stating that it is seeking high reviews since players now have enough gameplay footage to know the future of the blue blur.

SEGA has also been extremely silent about the game. However, newly leaked gameplay footage from the game gives us some idea of what to expect, thanks to Rebs Gaming.

The leaked gameplay appears to be solid and crisp, and the graphics and textures appear to be stellar.
