"Someone in this group knows where he is": Mum's desperate plea for missing 23-year-old

Catherine O'Sullivan, mother of the missing 23-year-old Jack O'Sullivan, has revealed that a crucial lead in her son's case might come from a member of their 'Find Jack' Facebook group.

Speaking directly to the group's over 88,000 followers, she expressed that someone within this network may have vital information regarding Jack's mysterious disappearance.

In an emotional message on the social media platform, she implored: "I get continual messages telling me the person who has the answers as to what has happened to Jack and where he is, is in this group."

She pleaded with the potential informant, saying: "If that is true please come forward and let someone know, you can share this information anonymously if you prefer. We are a desperate family and we just need answers.

"Please help us! The bottom line is 'someone knows' what has happened to Jack. We ask please just come forward with information that could help us."

Jack was last spotted in Bristol's Hotwells area on Saturday, March 2, after attending a party. His phone activity ceased around 6am near Cumberland Basin and Hotwells, with no further movements noted on his bank account since.

Catherine O'Sullivan has voiced her dissatisfaction with the police's suggestion that Jack might have accidentally fallen into the water, possibly at Cumberland Basin or into the River Avon, on the night of his disappearance, as reported by Somerset Live. "We are desperate and we are in the hands of the public for support," she said. "Stop for a minute and think - this is a family in the worst pain imaginable. Please do anything that you can to help. Any information you have is greatly appreciated. Thank you," she pleaded.
