‘Some things I don’t like’ – Daniil Medvedev gives Nick Kyrgios verdict ahead of Australian Open clash

Daniil Medvedev wasn’t exactly convincing in his appraisal for his next Australian Open opponent Nick Kyrgios ahead of their match on Thursday.

‘Our last match was so long ago and we are both so different and a different momentum of our careers that it’s really tough to count it.

‘As I say, win or lose, I don’t think these two matches gonna count into this one.’

Medvedev, the No.1 seed after Novak Djokovic was ruled out of the tournament after being deported, is no stranger to being booed and is not afraid to hold back on his views, most notably when he called out the crowd during a win against Feliciano
