Solheim Cup: Jennifer Kupcho produces stunning finish to leave US and Europe level for Sunday singles

Jennifer Kupcho summoned a pair of superb last-gasp putts to drag the United States back all square at 8-8 after a riveting second day of Solheim Cup, while it was a mixed day for Ireland’s Leona Maguire, winning alongside Esther Henseleit in the morning foursomes before a 3&2 defeat with Nastasia Nadaud in the four balls.

Europe had built a two-point lead after Saturday’s foursomes at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands and the hosts looked strong favourites to retain that advantage as the final quartet approached the closing holes.
