Sofyan Amrabat makes Manchester United promise after 'dream' summer transfer
Deadline day signing Sofyan Amrabat has promised to “give absolutely everything” for Manchester United.
United have the option to buy the Moroccan for €20million plus €5m in add-ons next summer, his initial loan costing United €10m. The midfielder, whose parent club is Fiorentina, could make his Reds debut against Brighton next week.
Amrabat has shared his excitement at signing for United, who needed a support act for Casemiro. The 27-year-old took to social media to send a message to supporters amid his recent arrival.
He wrote on his Instagram account: “Honoured and so proud to join this huge club, a club full of history and passion! It’s a dream to represent this shirt and I will give absolutely everything to defend this badge.

Amrabat bolsters a midfield that has thinned amid injuries to Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo, albeit is more defensively-minded than the sidelined duo. Ten Hag explained this week why he was happy to have signed Amrabat.
He said: "It was already from the start of the season one of my wishes to get another six, another holding midfielder in the squad. Because with the season, you need that depth there. In that position, we only had Casemiro who can play there and others we have to make compromises.
"With Sofyan Amrabat, we have another one. He can also play alongside Casemiro because he can play higher on the pitch and it's good to have him. He fits good to Premier League football, Champions League football, the demands.
