Slug & Lettuce Deansgate in HUGE revamp with colour changing bar, birdcage booths and giant iPhone camera

Slug & Lettuce’s Deansgate bar has been given a ‘major glow up’ as part of a flagship revamp which features colour changing lights, VIP booths and even a giant iPhone camera perfect for selfies.

The historic Grade II listed building has been given a £680,000 refurbishment featuring plush private seating booths, on-trend interiors, and a new back bar. There is also a dedicated area for cocktail masterclasses, which has been designed as a grand dresser unit and is complete with pendant lighting and shimmering jewel-like stained glass.

The venue, which has reopened today, will also include brass arch features, bronze mirrors and colour changing LED lighting that changes throughout the day, alongside new VIP booths featuring leather-style seats, pink terrazzo tiled tables.

The venue’s popular birdcage seating booths have also been given an update, now decorated in opulent teal, blue and green velvets, alongside pink, white and gold tables. A set of butterfly wings and a giant iPhone camera with integrated digital screen will also both be on hand to ensure visitors can get the perfect selfie shot.

The Deansgate venue is the first Slug & Lettuce branch to receive such a revamp, which is hoped will be carried out through its other sites in the near future. It’s hoped the opulent refurbishment will ensure the venue remains a ‘paradise for cocktail lovers’.
