Siyo to lead South Africa at inaugural ICC U19 Women's World Cup

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced their 15-player SA U19 Women's squad for next year's inaugural ICC U19 Women's World Cup.

Benoni and Potchefstroom will host the first-ever U19 Women's T20 World Cup from 14-29 January 2023, showcasing the sport's future stars with 16 nations set to participate.

On Tuesday, CSA named a 15-player squad and two non-travelling reserves, who will participate in next week's Women's Super League (WSL) at Newlands and in a five-match T20 series against India U19 ahead of the ICC event.

Lions batter Oluhle Siyo will lead the side with Easterns' Madison Landman as vice-captain.

All 15 players will be capped on Sunday on eve of CSA Women's Super League at Newlands in Cape Town.
