Six deals Manchester United could still complete on transfer deadline day

After nearly three months of wheeling and dealing we have entered the final day of the transfer window. Clubs have until 11pm to finalise any remaining deals and like most of their Premier League rivals, Manchester United are still active.

United have signed four players so far but will push their summer spending past the £200m mark on deadline day, while there could be a shock arrival as well in a window that possibly has more twists and turns to come.

It's been an eventful United summer in the first window under Ineos and the deals for Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have looked good for the new football structure, led by sporting director Dan Ashworth. There have also been seven permanent exits and around £65m recouped in sales.

It's given Erik ten Hag a squad he can call his own and it will be strengthened further before the bell sounds tonight. These are the deals that could still be completed at Old Trafford today.

Manuel Ugarte

United agreed a fee of £42.3m with PSG for Ugarte earlier this week, with a further £8.5m in add-ons. The 23-year-old arrived in Manchester on Tuesday night and began completing the formalities of his transfer on Wednesday.

It's something of a surprise that the deal hasn't yet been formally announced but it is on-track and there have been no issues. Ugarte will need to be registered before midday on Friday to be eligible to face Liverpool on Sunday.

He has been United's top target for the holding midfield position throughout the window and has been desperate to make the switch. United
