Simon Jordan tears into Rangers boss Michael Beale again as Ibrox 'whirlwind' branded 'exactly what he deserves'

Simon Jordan reckons Michael Beale is getting exactly what he deserves – now he's in the "big boy seat" at Rangers.

The Englishman is experiencing the first signs of serious scrutiny after coming through his first four derbies against Celtic winless. Defeat at Hampden at the weekend saw Rangers crash out of the Scottish Cup and guaranteed they will finish the season trophyless, with Ange Postecoglou's team needing just one win from their final five games to secure the Premiership title.

There have been signs of progress under Beale but a small section of fans have voiced concerns over whether he is the man to wrestle Scottish football dominance back from Celtic given they have lost to them in both cups and taken a single point from their rivals in the league so far. And Jordan, who heavily criticised Beale over the circumstances of his return to Ibrox back in December, has now doubled down.

Beale professed his loyalty to QPR after being offered the Wolves job but just weeks later he returned to Glasgow, where he previously served as Steven Gerrard's No.2. And Jordan said on talkSPORT: "He did a very good job at QPR which got a lot of attention. Clearly he's a very capable individual, but he clearly doesn't know at times when to speak and when not to speak, like we can all be guilty of. To make the ridiculous assertions he made about not wanting to go to Wolves, then catching the first bus out to Rangers, made him look slightly hypocritical.
