Sifu: Developers reveal huge 2022 roadmap

Sifu has been a huge hit since its release back in February of 2022 and more content is coming.

The beat-em-up has a very unique mechanic in that every time you die, you age, and the game is one of the most difficult to release this year.

Given that this year includes the release of Elden Ring, we’d say that’s a major achievement.

On PS5, the game has an 80 Metacritic score, while it also has a user score of 8.1 from 408 ratings.

That is a remarkably strong launch for the game and the developers have now revealed their roadmap of content for the remainder of 2022.

The Sifu Game Twitter account has revealed that there will be four updates, in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

The first will be available on May 3rd, which is next week, and it includes a number of major changes to the game.

Difficulty options will be included, allowing the player to choose between Student, Disciple, or Master, while an advanced training mode will also be patched into the game, along with an outfit selection page.

In the summer, there will be the addition of advanced scoring, and gameplay modifiers; the latter will allow players to tweak their own experience, potentially allowing the player to increase or decrease health, increase the number of enemies, or increase their own skills. New outfits will also be available.

In Fall, Sifu will receive a Replay Editor, along with new modifiers and new outfits.

And in Winter, there will be an entirely new game mode added by Sloclap, with Arenas being added, along with new modifiers and new outfits.

This is an impressive amount of content that is going to be added to the game and it is likely to keep it alive over the coming months.

This is excellent news for Sifu fans!
