Shota Arveladze provides Hull City injury latest for Bristol City and makes changes commitment
Randell Williams has recovered from the knee injury which has seen him sidelined since the win at Bournemouth in November, though he will not be involved in Hull City's remaining two games against Bristol City and Nottingham Forest. The summer signing from Exeter has endured a difficult first season at the MKM Stadium, having seen it heavily impacted by injury and there was hope that the winger would be available in the closing stages of the season, but that will now not happen, according to City boss Shota Arveladze.
The Tigers have reported no fresh injury concerns after the 3-0 win over Reading last weekend which saw last season's League One winners hit the 50-point marker, and will travel to the Avon looking to end a wretched run at Ashton Gate which has not been a happy hunting ground in recent years, with just one victory in their last 23.
Arveladze, who gave his players a lengthy spell off after Saturday's fine victory, also confirmed that Nathan Baxter and Matt Ingram will battle it out for the number one jersey this weekend and then again when Nottingham Forest come to the MKM Stadium on the final day next Saturday. The Georgian boss had given thought to starting Harvey Cartwright, but says he will persevere with his two senior stoppers.
"He's fit and has trained with us for the last 10 days," the Georgian said of Williams. "Everybody is fit and he's one of them, but he will not be in the squad this weekend. It's not a case of because he's fit he can play, he's been out for a long time and with the options we have, who are fit and in form, we can expect more from them. They've been involved in every session for the last three months.
