Shoppers are heaping praise on a £44 ASDA gadget that makes carpets and floors look brand new in a matter of seconds. Shoppers are so impressed with the supermarket buy, they're switching from more expensive premium brands like Shark and Dyson.

ASDA's budget Beldray vacuum cleaner is currently showing as £80 on the supermarket's website, but has been spotted for £44 in stores. At such a cheap price, shoppers have been snapping them up.

Having tried the £44 ASDA vacuum cleaner, many shoppers have been impressed by how quickly it cleans carpets. Pet owners have been particularly taken by how well it picks up pet hair from carpets - which can usually be a stubborn and monotonous task.

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Tavia Shan wrote: "Was desperate for a new [vacuum cleaner]., gave this a try as our last one from ASDA lasted nearly 4 years! £80 online, scanned £44 ASDA. Picked up a whole tank of cat hair just from our living room carpet!"
