Sheffield Wednesday handed fitness boost as long-term absentee nears return

Sheffield Wednesday defender Dominic Iorfa is nearing a return to the senior playing fold with him picked in the u23 side today.

The Owls will be looking to finish this season strongly under Darren Moore with them firmly in the play-off picture and certainly in with a shout of achieving an automatic promotion spot if Wigan Athletic or Rotherham United slip up.

Moore has done well at getting the Owls into a decent rhythm this year, especially with the number of injury issues he has had, and he’ll be pleased that another senior star is getting closer to a return after months out.
