'Severe' delays on M4 after crash with miles of queues
There were "severe" delays on the M4 this afternoon (August 2) after one lane was closed following a crash. The crash happened on the M4 westbound at junction 41 at the A48 Pentyla/Baglan Road interchange. There was congestion to M4 junction 37 at Pyle with queues 45 minutes long at their worst.
Traffic maps showed miles of queues in the area which is already a bottleneck for the motorway due to average speed limit restrictions. All lanes re-opened at around 3:30pm.
Traffic Wales said that emergency services had attended the scene. Join our WhatsApp news community here for the latest breaking news.
