Seth Rollins: WWE star's incredible reversal of Curb Stomp on Raw

Seth Rollins faced Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship in the opening match of this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

Lashley ended up picking the win, unfortunately for Rollins, after the former WWE Champion benefitted off a distraction from Matt Riddle.

After the match, in a wild backstage brawl, Rollins and Riddle challenged each other to a match at Extreme Rules, which will be contested in a Fight Pit.

The match between Rollins and Lashley was fantastic, which shouldn’t be surprising considering it featured two of WWE’s top stars.

Lashley’s win over arguably Raw’s top star was Triple H’s latest way of trying to place a focus on the champion and his United States Championship.

Ever since be became Head of Creative in July, Triple H has seemed keen to place a renewed focus on the US title, seemingly seeing it as more important than the previous WWE regime did.

Another way in which ‘The Game’ has looked to make the title feel more important is by giving Lashley big wins, and giving him big spots during his matches.

That was seen clearly during this week’s episode of Raw, with Lashley coming up with one of the most inventive counters for the Curb Stomp that you’ll ever see.

As you can see from the footage above, Lashley was made to look like an utter monster with his reversal for Rollins’ signature move.

Lashley simply reversed the move with his insane body strength, just refusing to go down after being stomped into the crowd by Rollins, or at least that was Seth’s intention.
