Scottish Cup semi final draw LIVE as Celtic, Falkirk and Dunfermline await Hampden rival
The Scottish Football season is now nearing it's business end - with those teams remaining in the Scottish Cup set to learn their semi final fate.
Celtic lost out in a penalty shootout to Aberdeen in the final last May but emerged victorious on spot kicks against Rangers at Ibrox to book their passage to Hampden. The sides could not be separated after 120 minutes and January signing Tomas Cvancara netted the decisive penalty to send the 7,5000 strong Hoops support in the Broomloan Stand wild.
Unfortunately, their triumph has been overshadowed with the ugly scenes on the pitch after the full-time whistle as fans from both teams spilled onto the turf - with one individual also appearing to attack a member of Celtic's coaching staff.
On Saturday, Dunfermline reached the last four of the Scottish Cup for the first time in 17 years by thumping holders Aberdeen 3-0 at East End Park. Could Neil Lennon face off against his old manager Martin O'Neill at the national stadium next month?
John McGlynn's Falkirk are also hoping to go all the way and sealed their semi final spot with a convincing 2-0 home win over Dundee United on Friday night.
The remaining last-four berth will be taken by either St Mirren or Partick Thistle, who meet at the SMISA Stadium in the late kick-off on Sunday night.
