Scottie Scheffler already thinking about Masters decision that will affect Tiger Woods

If it ain't broke, don't fix it – this seems to be the mantra of Scottie Scheffler both on and off the green, and it's clearly paying off.

As for his culinary services, the 28-year-old American golfer is already planning the lineup for the 2025 Masters' Champions Dinner, despite it being half a year away.

The tradition has it that the previous winning golfer of the Green Jacket gets the privilege and responsibility of selecting and funding the menu served at the annual Champions Dinner, traditionally held on the Tuesday preceding the tournament.

Having triumphed at the 2024 Masters, Scheffler will enjoy this honour in the run-up to next year's tourney and he's hinted at taking inspiration from Tiger Woods.

"I have thought about [what I will serve] a little bit," Scheffler revealed on the GOLF's Subpar podcast, contemplating whether to repeat last year's offerings. "I'm wondering if I should just have the exact same menu. I mean, it was pretty good, it was all my favourite foods."

Despite mulling over potential changes, he seems inclined to stick with what worked previously. "I don't really know what I could do differently. I think it would be really fun just to have the exact same food. But yeah, we'll see."

Scheffler certainly set a high bar with the fare at his first Champions Dinner as defending champion in 2023, serving up delectable cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, Texas ribeye steak, blackened redfish, and chocolate chip skillet cookies, reports the Irish Star.
