Scotland sent pair of cocky warnings as Norway certain they'll beat us to Euro 2024 and Spain unleash The Kid

Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard is utterly convinced Norway will catch Scotland and qualify for Euro 2024 next summer.

The Norwegians came through their home game against Georgia despite another nerve-wracking last few minutes after the visitors scored a late goal to make it 2-1. They are now eight points behind the Scots with three games remaining and they go to Hampden on the final round of qualifiers in November. They have to win all of their matches, including a home game against Spain and hope Scotland realistically lose all their games since they are also 12 goals worse off than Scotland in goal difference.

Odegaard grabbed a rare international goal in the win - only his third in 53 appearances for his country - and remains optimistic about a stunning turnaround in the group. He said: "We have not given up the qualification in any way. We will do everything to win all our remaining games and if we do that, I think we stand a pretty good chance of qualifying. I actually think we have performed very well in the group. We had a bad few minutes against Scotland, but apart from that we have performed well.
