Scotland and Exeter Chiefs full-back Stuart Hogg has announced his retirement from rugby with immediate effect. Hogg, 31, had initially planned to retire after this year’s Rugby World Cup in France, but revealed in a statement that he wouldn’t be fit to bid farewell on the sport’s grandest stage.
