Schools rugby: Bishops top SACS in 150th derby, Paarl Gim down Paul Roos
Bishops and Paarl Gimnasium claimed notable wins in schools rugby matches over the weekend.
In the 150-year anniversary derby, Bishops bagged an entertaining 31-25 home victory over SACS in Cape Town.
It was revenge for Bishops in the country's oldest schoolboy rivalry after they lost to SACS last year.
In the Western Cape Premier Interschools clash, Paarl Gimnasium claimed a 24-19 away victory over Paul Roos in Stellenbosch.
In KZN, Maritzburg College thumped Glenwood 42-15 and Hilton College edged Durban High 36-33 in a thrilling encounter.
In Gauteng, Garsfontein beat Waterkloof 50-31, while Monument (Monnas) fired late on to beat Nelspruit 40-20.
