The Scarlets comfortably beat the Dragons 32-15 in Llanelli to move back into the United Rugby Championship play-off places.
Dwayne Peel's side touched down for four tries courtesy of Blair Murray (twice), Josh Macleod and Ellis Mee while both Sam Costelow and Ioan Lloyd kicked 12 points between them from the kicking tee.
The Dragons claimed two tries of their own with Taine Basham and Huw Anderson scoring while Angus O'Brien kicked five points. This victory moves the Scarlets up to sixth in the table but despite huge improvements they may regret falling on the wrong side of some tight games in the first half of the season.
But for now the west Walians are alive and while this was nowhere near a complete performance they did show signs of attacking brilliance. The Dragons fought hard but lacked the power and the quality of their hosts.
The Scarlets' first try was a contender for the try of the season. After Aaron Wainwright lost control of the ball the hosts spread it wide to release Tom Rogers down the touchline.
The Wales wing broke a few tackles before the ball went through the hands of Johnny Williams and Gareth Davies who put Blair Murray clear for the try which Sam Costelow converted. Costelow and Angus O'Brien exchanged three points before the Scarlets pounced for their second try.
The Dragons failed to deal with the restart before some neat handling from Williams and Sam Lousi found Josh Macleod whose long pass reached Murray on the edge. The Wales wing showcased his explosive footwork to beat his Wales colleague far too easily to score at the corner with Costelow adding the extras.
