Saturday sport: All-Ireland football championship begins as Kerry face Roscommon

The All-Ireland Football Championship gets up and running today.

Kerry and Roscommon meet in Group 2, with throw-in at Fitzgerald Stadium at 2.30pm.

Pearse Stadium is the venue for a Group 4 clash of Galway and Dublin from 5pm.

In the Tailteann Cup, Waterford take on Offaly in Group 2 from 1.30pm.

Also in that group, there's a 6pm start to Wicklow against Laois.

In Group 1, Tipperary welcome Kildare to Clonmel from 4pm, while it's Antrim against Limerick at 4.30pm in Corrigan Park.

Before the footballers, the Galway hurlers are in action at Pearse Stadium this afternoon.

Micheál Donoghue's side take on Antrim in Round 4 of the Leinster Hurling Championship from 2.30pm.

Wexford need a win at home to Offaly to keep their All-Ireland hopes alive – throw-in at Chadwicks Wexford is at 5pm.

It's also finals day in the Leinster camogie championships.

The intermediate final between Carlow and Laois is underway from 2pm, while it's a 4.15pm start for Kilkenny against Wexford in the senior decider.
