Salt Bae's infamous Knightsbridge steakhouse is reducing its insane prices to 'get customers in the door'

One of Salt Bae's flagship restaurants in London has slashed its prices with the release of a new menu. The restaurant which opened back in September 2021 has always been known for its expensive dining experience but the team have decided to scale down their prices to "entice customers back through its doors."

As reported by SquareMeal the price changes include a set lunch menu being priced at just £39 per person and is available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 5pm.

Despite its owner's popularity online, the Steakhouse has received a series of negative reviews since its opening. Just a few months after opening, Nusr-Et was ranked at 20,491 out of 23,811 restaurants in London, with an average rating of two out of five stars on TripAdvisor.

With the new menu, MyLondon reports that guests will be able to enjoy a starter, main and dessert for just under forty quid. Or diners can order a burger and fries for £45, while certain starters, such as their tacos and steak tartare, are set to be on offer for around £35 a dish.

Another new addition is the new range of sushi, which will be priced between £23-28 for four pieces. The restaurant gained notoriety after photos of customers’ receipts went viral on social media.

The restaurant divided diners with some praising the venue as a “treat”, while other guests claim Nusr-Et is an “insult to humanity”. Some diners even alleged they were turned away at the door despite having a pre-booked reservation, while others were told they had half an hour to finish their food in the middle of their meal.
