Sadio Mane: Bayern star signed 1,000 autographs at open training session

Sadio Mane has hit the ground running to a degree at Bayern Munich in his debut season.

The Senegalese icon completed a move to Germany from Liverpool this summer for a fee in the region of €32 million.

Mane scored on his Bundesliga debut against Eintracht Frankfurt, before bagging a brace in the 7-0 victory over VFL Bochum.

The 30-year-old failed to find the back of the net in Bayern’s two most recent fixtures, which were 1-1 draws against both Borussia Monchengladbach and Union Berlin.

But while he’s perhaps not hit the lofty heights he achieved in his prime at Liverpool quite yet, Mane is already a firm favourite at Bayern.

And he further adorned himself to the club’s passionate fans at a public training session hosted on Sunday.

Around 1,000 supporters were in attendance at the Säbener Straße facility and Mane took the time to sign an autograph for each and every one of them.

According to German publication BILD, Mane spent around 105 minutes completing his generosity.

He was also reportedly taking selfies with the fans and sharing some jokes with a few of them.
