Sabrina Carpenter fans share hopes for singer after Netflix special show airs
Sabrina Carpenter is wrapping up an impressive year, with excitement building for her upcoming festive Netflix one-off.
The special will showcase tunes from her holiday EP Fruitcake, and her fans are buzzing about the chance it may climb the charts again, perhaps in a refreshed form.
On Reddit, anticipation is palpable, with a fan proposing: "I wonder if the duets are new versions of the Fruitcake songs or something else? I'm glad she believes in that EP to promote it because it's one of my favourite modern Christmas projects and I need it to be popular with her newer fans."
Another eager fan posted: "Oh that is a stacked line up! Can't wait for the duets! Wonder if we'll get them on streaming or a Fruitcake deluxe." A comment from another supporter read: "As if we needed anymore signs to get fruitcake to number 1."
Meanwhile, someone else hoped: "I hope the entire Fruitcake EP shows up in this special. And maybe we could get new songs?" One said: "I can't wait! ! Hope fruitcake (her xmas EP from last year) will get the success it deserves."
Another shared: "She's also rumoured to push is it new years yet as a single, so i think if it ever is gonna have success, she's doing the right push for it."
The line-up of confirmed duets for the special features artists such as Chappell Roan, Tyla, Shania Twain, and Kali Uchis. The show is also set to have guest appearances by a host of celebrated names including Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell, reports the Mirror.
