SA fixtures, kick-off times for European rugby knockouts: Who YOUR side will be playing and when

It is another massive weekend for South African rugby, with all five premier franchises in last 16 knockout action across the European Champions and Challenge Cups. 

Playing in these competitions was a major perk of South Africa's move to the northern hemisphere two seasons ago, and it allows the sides to take on the best of France and England in addition to their United Rugby Championship (URC) opponents. 

The Stormers, Sharks and Bulls are competing in the top-tier Champions Cup, while the Lions and Cheetahs are in the Challenge Cup. 

While the draws have been confirmed in both competitions, with the highest-seeded team given home-ground advantage, the South African franchises will have to play away from home at a neutral venue if they reach the semi-finals. 

For now, though, the goal will be to simply secure a spot in the quarter-finals with a victory this weekend.

Champions Cup last 16 fixtures:

SHARKS v Munster: Saturday 1 April, 13:30

The Sharks have been hit-and-miss of late and are currently eighth in the URC and fighting for qualification on that front. They will still enter this weekend's round of Champions Cup knock-out matches as slight favourites, given they are at home, but it remains a difficult game to call. Munster are fifth on the URC standings. The sides will meet again in the last round of URC group stage action, also in Durban, on 22 April. 

STORMERS v Harlequins: Saturday 1 April, 16:00
