Rylan Clark says 'just like that' as he issues 'bye' message
Rylan Clark has said 'bye' to his latest job as he marked the end of his latest pantomime stint. The TV and radio star has been playing The Spirit of the Beans in Cliffs Pavilion's production of Jack and the Beanstalk over the recent festive season.
Rylan returned to the stage alongside comedian and pantomime favourite Aaron James, who played the role of Silly Simon, Neal Wright, whose credits include West End shows like Mamma Mia! and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as Dame Trot, and Nic Greenshields, fresh from appearing as the Lion in The Wizard of Oz, took on the role of Fleshcreep.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and on Sunday (January 5), Rylan marked the end of his latest panto stint. Taking to his Instagram Story, he shared a group snap of the cast and crew and said: "To this amazing lot, thanks for an amazing few weeks."
He then shared a couple of follow-up posts in which he posted a message over a black background. The first read: "And just like that... The show was over." Rylan, 36, then added: "Thank you everyone who came to see the show. Truely has been a pleasure. And thank you everyone who worked on the show." He also posted a photo of his outfit and said: "Bye Spirit."
It comes after Rylan was told by fans 'well said' as he rounded off his 2024 with a simple assessment before sharing a fresh update for the new year ahead. It goes without saying that the BBC Radio 2 has had another busy 12 months in the showbiz world.
As well as continuining to host his Saturday afternoon show on the station, he has also appeared on BBC Two alongside Rob Rinder in their first ever travel series, hosted a new Paramount+ show, Dating Naked UK, and Amazon Prime reality series, Hot
