Rylan Clark addresses future with Rob Rinder as he admits working with him was 'a risk'

Rylan Clark has issued an update about the future of his and Rob Rinder's BBC show Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour, which came to screens earlier this year.

Rylan, 35, said that while working with Rob, 46, was "a risk", it was one that paid off as the pair have since formed a great connection.

Gushing over their bond, Rylan admitted that whilst he hadn’t been friends with Rob before, he has now gained “a close friend who I trust”.

He believes the pair mostly worked well together as Rob was "the head" of the friendship, while he was "the heart".

Now, the TV duo have further plans to work together up their sleeves but are keeping details quiet for now.

Rylan said: “Rob’s amazing. We weren’t friends before, so it was a bit of a risk, but I’ve left with such a close friend who I trust.

“I want to kill him most nights, but I trust him. The messages I get off him, though. We work well because he’s the head and I’m the heart, we’re like one person. If we get in trouble, he knows how to get out of it, he knows the law.

"If we get in an argument, I know how to get out of it because I'll run my mouth."

Addressing their future, he added to The Sun's TV Magazine: "We’ve always got plans, we’ve got an idea up our sleeve, but all in good time.”

Rylan and Rob came together to co-host the Grand Tour programme, which sees them travel around the beautiful European country of Italy. So far the show has proved popular with figures surpassing three million.

On this, Rylan said: "The other day we found out it was getting over three million viewers an episode, which is ridiculous. I think it's the biggest BBC Arts show they've ever done."
