Ryan Kent sees Fenerbahce contract RIPPED UP with former Rangers star left in limbo

Ryan Kent is on the lookout for a new club after having his contract at Fenerbahce terminated.

The 27-year-old joined the Turkish giants on a four-year deal in the summer of 2023 after leaving Rangers, but was unable to make an impact in his first year in Istanbul, scoring just once in 18 appearances. The arrival of Jose Mourinho has seen the former Liverpool youngster fall further down the pecking order, and after he failed to secure a transfer elsewhere in the summer transfer window, the Super Lig powerhouses have now came to an agreement to mutually rip up his deal at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.

A club statement read: "To inform The contract with Ryan Kent, one of the Professional Football A Team players, has been terminated by mutual agreement. We present it to the public."

Kent initially signed for the Gers on a loan deal from Liverpool in the summer of 2018 and his performances saw the Ibrox club fork out £6.5million to sign him on a permanent basis 12 months later. Kent scored 33 goals in 218 matches in Govan and picked up winner's medals in the Premiership and Scottish Cup.
