Ryan Gravenberch 'open' to joining Premier League rivals in Manchester United blow and more transfer rumours

Ryan Gravenberch has snubbed a reunion with Erik ten Hag after informing Liverpool he would be 'open' to joining them this summer, according to reports.

Manchester United are reported to have held a long-standing interest in Gravenberch, with reports earlier this year even suggesting they saw a January deadline-day move for the Dutchman rejected by Bayern Munich. The Reds instead took Marcel Sabitzer on loan for the rest of the season, but Ten Hag's interest in his compatriot has remained.

Gravenberch only joined Bayern from Ajax last summer in a deal worth around £16million, but the 20-year-old has not been as involved as he would like. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka have been mainstays, while a deal to sign Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig this summer is set to push him further down the pecking order.

That could well force the young midfielder out and will likely have caught the eye of Ten Hag. However, the Mirror reports that Liverpool have taken a major step in discussing personal terms with the player's representatives, who have suggested he would be open to the Anfield move while Bayern could be open to selling.

Elsewhere, Torcedores (via Sport Witness) reports that out-of-favour United man Alex Telles could be on his way back to Brazil with Flamengo making contact over a loan move.

The Brazilian side are reportedly set to appoint former Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli, who has requested signings this summer and identified Telles as his 'main' target.

Flamengo are said to have held talks with United over the weekend, with their desire to secure a loan move with an option to buy.
