RuPaul's Drag Race stars bring ‘largest drag show in the world’ to Manchester

Fan favourites from RuPaul’s Drag Race will be sashaying their way from America over to the UK for one of the ‘largest drag shows in the world’.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq The World Tour will arrive in the UK in October for 12 huge shows, including a night at Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday, October 7.

The show-stopping eleganza will feature eight stunning drag performers from the Drag Race hall of fame, including season 12 winner and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars star Jaida Essence Hall and season 10 winner Aquaria.

The tour will also feature Rosé, Angeria, Bosco, Daya Betty, Kandy Muse and Ginger Minj as they are unknowingly trapped in a drag ‘Netwerq’ where you need to free your mind to escape.

The 2023 tour, presented by Live Nation, Cuffe and Taylor and Voss Events in collaboration with World of Wonder and MTV, will be the fifth iteration of the Werq The World tour in the UK, which has been acclaimed for its high-end production values.

Ben Hatton, Director of Theatre Touring for Cuffe and Taylor, said: “These shows will be exciting, cheeky, outrageous and hugely entertaining – everything you’d expect from the worldwide phenomenon that is RuPaul’s Drag Race.

“We are very excited to be presenting the full tour across the UK and Ireland and look forward to seeing these fabulous queens sashay into packed arenas for 12 nights of fun.”

The show will kick off at Cardiff International Arena on October 5, before heading up and down the country with stops including Leeds, London, Birmingham and Aberdeen. The tour will end in Brighton on October 22.
