Ruben Amorim tweak could save Manchester United millions in the transfer market

Meanwhile, in Manchester, Amorim's Midas touch with his centre-forwards is starting to be seen to full effect.

It's simple enough to draw conclusions, especially considering the form of the forwards Amorim inherited at Manchester United. Before he arrived, Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund scored seven goals in their first 47 appearances this season.

For Amorim, they have seven goals in a combined seven games. It has gone from famine to feast in no time at all, and a team that looked to lack the goal threat to challenge is suddenly scoring freely.
