Alan Shearer notices reaction from Man United star after Ruben Amorim's comments about him
Manchester United's Amad has caught the eye of Alan Shearer following his impressive display against Everton, which also earned him praise from head coach Ruben Amorim.
The 22-year-old was named man of the match after the Red Devils' 4-0 win over Sean Dyche's side at Old Trafford on Sunday (December 1) – a result that marked Amorim's first Premier League victory as United boss.
Amad provided two assists, with Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both scoring twice, as United climbed to ninth in the table. Although he didn't find the net himself, his all-round performance saw him claim 70% of the vote for man of the match on United's official website.

Amorim praised Amad's display, also crediting Leicester boss and ex-United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy for helping to develop the winger during his time in charge. "He is really big in talent, but small in size," Amorim said on Match of the Day 2.
"He did a great job but he is also has to improve. He is a great moment. Ruud van Nistelrooy helped him a lot in his games in charge and now he's helping me."
Shearer also commended Amad for his performance at wing-back, a position he had never played before prior to Amorim's arrival, reports the Mirror. On the 'The Rest Is Football' podcast, the Newcastle United icon lavished praise on the winger, saying: "Amad Diallo was absolutely outstanding on the right-hand side.
