Ruben Amorim to Manchester United latest as fee agreed and start date 'set'

The Manchester Evening News revealed on Wednesday that both parties had agreed a fee to appoint Amorim. Talks remain ongoing however, as United are now working on a deal to bring his first-team coaches to Old Trafford.
Carlos Fernandes, 29, and Adelio Candido, 28, followed Amorim from Braga to Sporting in 2020 and they have been crucial in his success at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. For now, Ruud van Nistelrooy will remain in charge on an interim basis and is likely to be in the dugout of United's crunch Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
