Ruben Amorim press conference live updates and team news ahead of Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Ruben Amorim will answer questions from journalists at Carrington this afternoon. Amorim will speak to the press to preview Manchester United's game against Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Monday.

United got back to winning ways against Wolves earlier in the week, winning 4-1 thanks to a brace from Bruno Fernandes, along with a goal each from Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount.

The victory lifted United to sixth in the Premier League table, which means Amorim may be asked about his team's chances of qualifying for the Champions League at today's press conference.

Amorim will also give a team news update and be asked about the challenge of Bournemouth.

Follow for updates from the press conference at Carrington.

We'll bring you updates from Amorim at 1.30pm this afternoon.

Sam Mather is set to leave United in the January window. Mather missed out on an exit in the summer window due to talks collapsing with Turkish club Kayserispor, but his situation will be revisited.

Mather, 21, is keen to leave United in an effort to kickstart his career in the professional game, and he is attracting interest from clubs in Turkey, Germany and Greece ahead of January.

Discussions have taken place regarding the youngster's future, and United are willing to make concessions to allow Mather to leave as early as possible after his summer move collapsed.

The Manchester Evening News reported in September that talks were at an advanced stage with Kayserispor on Turkey's deadline day. Kayserispor pushed hard to sign Mather on a permanent deal.
