Ruben Amorim is shaking things up at Manchester United by splitting his coaching staff into specialist areas to rapidly instil his philosophy, reports suggest. The Telegraph write that Amorim has assigned individual team members to cover defence, midfield, and attack, enabling players to quickly get to grips with his tactical vision.

He's brought a sizeable backroom squad to Old Trafford, including assistant Carlos Fernandes, goalkeeping expert Jorge Vital, along with Adelio Candido, Emanuel Ferro, and Paulo Barreira. Meanwhile, coaches Darren Fletcher and Andreas Georgson, plus assistant goalkeeping coach Craig Mawson, continue their roles from Erik ten Hag's tenure.

In an unconventional move, assistant Fernandes isn't orchestrating training as per tradition; instead, Amorim's appointees are zeroing in on specific player groups as a short-term strategy.
