Ruben Amorim faces a problem Erik ten Hag fixed in his first season as Manchester United manager

It was after Ruben Amorim's third game in charge of Manchester United that he made the decision to warn everyone that a storm was brewing.

United had just beaten Everton 4-0 to secure Amorim his second win from his first three games in charge and a second home win in the space of less than 72 hours.

Sunday's 2-0 defeat to West Ham United marked their 17th league defeat of the season and the 14th time they have failed to score in the Premier League this season. It also marked a ninth Old Trafford reverse of the campaign, meaning they have now lost exactly half of their home league games with
