Enda is reluctant to make too many definitive predictions based on league form, but Derry and Mayo look to be operating a level above most right now, while Rory was in Ardee to see Mickey Harte's Louth beat Cork and set up a promotion showdown with Dublin this weekend.

Donegal's malaise continued against Mayo and with relegation all but confirmed, Rory is concerned they may go into free fall, a la Cavan or Derry.

Armagh's defensive approach is in stark contrast to last year, but Enda warns that devising a strategy to win an Ulster championship may not be the best approach in this new structure.

Shane was in Nowlan Park on Sunday to witness a most unusual sight... a game of Gaelic football played at half-time of an Allianz Hurling League match in Kilkenny.

The locals are almost as unsettled by the new possession game being adopted by Derek Lyng, but Shane can see it bearing fruit, even in atrocious conditions.

Waterford's tactics are more a work in progress, with Shane highlighting their lack of goals compared to the other teams looking to down Limerick in Munster.
