Roy Keane tells Marcus Rashford where to go next in 'deal that works for everybody'

Marcus Rashford has been told by Roy Keane to move abroad in a deal that would benefit the forward and Manchester United.

Rashford, 27, admitted on Tuesday that he is ready for a new challenge, having spent his entire footballing career at United. The England international dropped the news just days after Ruben Amorim left him out of the Red Devils' squad for the 2-1 away victory over Manchester City.

It has been a tough few years for the United academy graduate, who has dropped out of England contention and been marred by troubles both on and off the field. Now he is looking for a route out of the club, Keane thinks a move overseas would be good for both Rashford and United, rather than considering a switch to a Premier League rival.

Speaking on The Overlap's Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet, Keane – when asked about Rashford's interview with Henry Winter – said: "I don’t actually mind what he said, although it’s a bit long, but it’s spot on.

"Sometimes a deal just works for everybody – it’s been going on for a year or two now, there’s obviously a bit of talent there and he’s been at the club since he was a kid. A change would probably do him a world of good, for him and his team and family to go abroad.”

Rashford has previously been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, who viewed him as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe. Reports have also claimed he is also being eyed by Barcelona.
