Roy Keane makes brutal Manchester United takeover claim with INEOS handed huge to-do list

Roy Keane has given Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos plenty to get on with at Manchester United as he claimed there are at least three things the club have to improve on. It comes as United kicked off their 2024 away at Wigan in the FA Cup.

"Who knows," he said when asked what the 25 per cent stake taken on by Ineos would mean for United, "but it can’t be any worse than over the past few years in terms of decision-making upstairs regarding the recruitment, the fees they have been paying and the wages they have been handing out, so you hope there is a change in dynamic at the club, new opinions, but only time will tell.

"The focus right now for Manchester United, especially for the manager, is getting results. Get a win again. We have seen the draw and it’s an easy tie for them, the only trophy they can win this season. They have to focus on the football side of things and hopefully the decisions upstairs will improve over the next few years."
