Kevin De Bruyne makes injury admission as new permanent Man City captain confirmed

Kevin De Bruyne said he tried to look at his five-month injury lay-off as a welcome break from a hectic career rather than let himself get frustrated.

The Manchester City playmaker returned to register an assist against Huddersfield Town in Sunday’s FA Cup clash having come on as a second half substitute to a rousing reception. De Bruyne said he was touched by the reaction and is ready to get back to work.
