JEDDAH: The curtain came down on Monday on the first race of Round 3 of the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the fastest street circuit in the world.

Certified by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile and promoted by Altawkilat Motorsport under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, the event brought together 14 drivers representing eight teams in an atmosphere of fierce competition that underscores the Kingdom’s growing stature on the global motorsport stage.

At the conclusion of the race, driver Lewis Wherrell from Team Caraagy took a commanding victory, followed by Kit Belofsky from Team Peax in second place and Scott Lindblom from Team Red Bull in third. Esmee Kosterman from Team My-Car received the best female driver award, while Wherrell was honored with the best rookie award.

In a thrilling contest from start to finish, Wherrell clinched first place after narrowly edging out Belofsky, who finished second, by 1.694 seconds. Lindblom secured third, trailing by 2.959 seconds, while Thibaut Ramaekers from Team Zahid and Adam Al-Azhari from Team Valvoline rounded out the top five. Positions six through ten went respectively to Kosterman, Chiara Battig, Abdullah Kamel, Megan Bruce and Ava Dobson.

The competition resumed on Tuesday with the second and final race, bringing together the championship’s leading drivers for a fiercely contested showdown.

With only narrow gaps separating the competitors, an intense battle is expected on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, where high-speed corners and demanding turns will once again test the precision and control of every driver.
