Ross Wilson is lucky Rangers never sacked him and he's another ditching sinking Ibrox ship - Hotline

Ross Wilson's sudden exit from Rangers for Nottingham Forest seems to have been more warmly received by supporters than many of his transfer dealings.

The Sporting Director completed a swift move to the Premier League on Wednesday after three-and-a-half years in Govan in which he helped deliver title number 55, a Scottish Cup and a Europa league Final. But major question marks have hung over his signing policy. Willie Mercer, Dumfries, said: “It says everything about the job Ross Wilson has done at Rangers, when we will receive more for him than for most of the players he has brought to the club. He is a lucky man leaving before at least £20million walks out the door in May. He should have been sacked.”
