'Ronaldo is finished, Fernandes a liability': Man United fans don't hold back after Watford draw

Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes have been the subject of some damning comments from supporters following Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Fernandes missed a gilt-edged chance in the first half when he powered a header over the bar while Ronaldo hit the post early on but offered little more for the rest of the game.

This didn’t escape the United faithful who took to Twitter to outline their annoyance with the pair, some posting fierce comments...

@Manutdirishreds: Ronaldo doesn’t look like the Ronaldo we know.

@nalayuckk: Cristiano Ronaldo is finished. Big man should hang up his boots now. Bruno is a liability.

@Busbybulletin: Ronaldo is a disgrace. Absolutely fuming!

@_maydnn: Wouldn't mind missing out on top four if it means Ronaldo leaving Man Utd.

@NeilTheKid: Ronaldo looked 37 today. Unlucky with his effort off the post but we had enough chances to win that.

@MaarijUnited: Bruno and Ronaldo were awful today, when one of your best players not turning up you got no chance of winning football matches.

@kenMaina: Ronaldo is past it. Bruno always slowing down play and trying outrageous wasteful passes.

@DeepanshuSareen: Absolutely Embarrassing! Can’t believe how poor were Cristiano and Bruno! They need to step up and bury those chances.

@M37_10MUFC: That defeat was all on the attack, Bruno and Ronaldo specifically. Just not good enough.

Ralf Rangnick’s side remain fourth but have played three games more than Arsenal in fifth, who are just three points behind.

Despite the frustrating result, United are now seven Premier League games unbeaten.

Their next match sees them travel to the Etihad to take on leaders and arch rivals Manchester City.
