Ronaldinho and Neymar: When Brazil duo put on a show vs Argentina in 2011

Ronaldinho is arguably the most entertaining player in football history.

The Brazilian was a wizard on the football pitch.

He had tricks aplenty and could do pretty much whatever he wanted with a football. He was a joy to watch.

As Ronaldinho came to the end of his career, another Brazilian with every trick in the book emerged: Neymar.

Neymar can do things with a football that people can only dream of and has enjoyed extraordinary success since making his professional debut in 2009.

Neymar was born 12 years after Ronaldinho but, despite the considerable age gap, the duo actually featured numerous times alongside each other for Brazil.

Their most memorable game together came against Argentina in the second leg of the Superclásico de las Américas in September 2011.

Both players were at their entertaining best in the match as Brazil won 2-0.

In January 2021, YouTuber user RDHDComps published a 14-minute video of the duo’s highlights during the match.

Ronaldinho has recently defended his former teammates. He told RMC Sport, per Goal: “I don’t understand because there are all the great players.
