'Rodri had enough' - National media spot 'unusual' Man City moment in dramatic Chelsea draw

A late Rodri goal salvaged a draw for Manchester City against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side headed into the game focused on closing the gap to Premier League title rivals Liverpool. City had recorded 11 consecutive wins in all competitions but were left looking for answers after Raheem Sterling scored against his former team to put Chelsea ahead.

Erling Haaland spurned several opportunities to put the home side back in control. Instead, it was Rodri’s prodded effort cannoning off Trevoh Chalobah that granted City a slight reprieve, which could prove crucial in the title race. The result leaves City third in the table, four points off top spot with a game in hand, following wins for Arsenal and Liverpool.
